NZ Pecan is a variety of Hickory wood that is known for its incredibly rich, buttery notes. Flavour-wise, NZ Pecan is stronger than other fruit woods but milder than Hickory. Similar to Oak and Pohutukawa.
With a sweet, nutty profile, the NZ Pecan BBQ wood loves chicken. It is also strong enough to stand up to beef, pork, lamb and venison.
