While it may look familiar on the outside, SOUNDBOKS 4 has been meticulously redesigned and rebuilt for superior performance. Be prepared to take your music adventures to the next level. SOUNDBOKS 4 will power your party with incredibly immersive sound at 126 dB, for up to 40 hours on a single charge.
We’ve drastically improved the audio performance and quality. We’ve implemented a much more powerful Digital Signal Processor (the “brain” behind all the internal audio handling), redesigned our speaker drivers for better bass, mids, and highs as well as refactored our audio routing and firmware altogether.
What you’re seeing (and hearing) is a much more stable and efficient speaker. This is thanks to redesigned speaker drivers, refactored audio-, and firmware routing, as well as the consolidation of two PCBAs into a single one. We have dedicated efforts to enhance sensitivity and reduce noise for XLR inputs ensuring a cleaner audio experience, and implemented a next-generation SKAA antenna with strategic placement, resulting in better TeamUp connection capability. Last but not least, SOUNDBOKS 4 gives your 20% longer playtime at maximum volume.
The look of the SOUNDBOKS 4 has been tweaked with our newly designed hi-def snap-off grill that allows you to easily make it your own. On top of this, we’ve improved the LEDs in the UI panel for better visuals and changed the names of our in-app sound profiles to put emphasis on the completely re-engineered and vastly improved audio experience. On top of this the new naming is more intuitive, enabling you to quickly select a tailored sound setting for the specific use case.
